principles
design
We find that every project has its own unique combination of variables including:
- client
- brief
- site & context
- budget
- council
- builder
To appropriately address each of these variables specifically and in harmony, we find that it is necessary to exercise great flexibility throughout the design and building process, rather than imposing a style or brand – this explains the variety of built work.
affordability
We conduct our studios very efficiently, by minimising unnecessary expenses and overheads that are often associated with professional offices. This enables us to offer a high standard of service for very competitive fees. We believe that professional architectural services should be accessible for a broad sector of the community, and this approach helps us to achieve that goal.

client focus
To ensure that our clients’ requirements are being thoroughly addressed, our practice is structured such that:
- clients always have direct access to a principal partner as their primary point of contact
- a principal partner is directly involved with key aspects of the design process at each stage for every project
- a principal partner is the sole point of contact for Council Officers during the planning approval stage for every project
- a principal partner is the sole point of contact for builders throughout the construction phase for every project
